Sand Volleyball and Bowling Tournament

The Szott Foundation put on their third annual sand volleyball tournament, with a new twist this year. In addition to the bumping, setting, and spiking, the first VolleyBowl tournament brought plenty of strikes, spares, and splits! The benefit turned out the most teams ever, bringing great competition and great fun. New-comers The Minnesodaks won the volleyball championship this year, defeating scientific contenders Spikeadelic.
On the bowling side of the benefit, the team of Matt Garner, Steve Dubbles, and Dick and Scott Geiger rolled their way into a championship, beating the Szott Foundation team of Sara Benedett and Kathryn, David and Brian Szott. Overall the benefit was a great success, raising more than $1500 for another Gift of Time. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or supported; we look forward to seeing everyone next year!
